McCormick responds to newspaper article by Sachs that questioned the extravagance of location shooting in Her Wild Oat, starring Colleen Moore. demonstrating the economy of location shooting. Newspaper articles attached. McCormick writes to Hays, suggesting that he point out to other producers "that seventy-five percent of the destructive comments made by photoplay editors might be eliminated if each and every producer would devote an hour a week of his time, patience and energy" to responding in a similarly intelligent manner -- because local newspaper editors may in a few years be editing an important newspaper or magazine.
