Uniform Contract

Draft of Legal opinion on damages resulting from a broken contract. Refers to Frohlich and Schwartz, The Law of Motion Pictures. Differentiates between first-run exhibition, where the distributor may have some obligation to seek to mitigate the damage to their business by getting another contract with another exhibitor, and all other exhibitions, where there is no such obligation, since the distributor is assumed to have an indefinite number of prints sufficient for their effective and universal distribution. Each print, handled with care, can be used for not less than 500 separate exhibitions.
