Resolutions at MPTOA Toronto Conference, 17 October 1928, declaring that the good name of the motion picture industry is imperilled by the exhibition for entertainment purposes of so-called sex hygiene pictures, which claim to instruct that which were in reality commercialize unpleasant subjects in a meretricious manner under the masquerade of education Also resolution condemning the "flood of regulatory measures setting up additional bureaucratic, politically controlled boards and commissions for the purpose of further restricting and hampering the free and intelligent production, distribution and exhibition of motion pictures."
