Memo - from Pettijohn or Woodhull? - records the charge made by Colonel H. A. Cole that the MPTOA had sold out to the producers and distributors by admitting affiliated exhibitors to membership at the Toronto conference, and alleges that Cole had previously urged that affiliated theatres in Texas join his Texas Theatre organisation, and had sought financial support from the producers and distributors during the Chicago conferences on the revised Standard Exhibition Contract in January 1928.
