MEETING - FOREIGN MANAGERS. 1925. Foreign Managers' Meeting Tuesday, February 24th, 1925 - oOo - Those present were: Mr Siedelman - Famous Brock - First National Spring - Metro-Goldwyn Feist - Jos. M. Schenck Mastroly - Universal F.L. Herron. The following were taken up and discussed: The pirating of prints. The registration of prints in Turkey. The new association in Australia. The new treaty with Poland, in which motion pictures were very favourably mentioned relative to the reduction of duty. The German Trade Treaty. The Cinematograph Trade Council. This organization has taken the place of the International Film Congress and all present stated that this new company was absolutely reliable, that their companies were backing it and that the names of their chief Executives were being used to further its progress. The question of a representative in Europe. It was reported that Mr. Hays would be back this week and that there would probably be something to report shortly on this matter. F.L.H.
