AMPP. 1924. Resolution on Patriotism and the Flag: Resolution passed by Association of Motion Picture Producers of America Inc. on May 15, 1924."WHEREAS it is the judgment of the Board of Directors of Association of Motion Picture Producers, Inc., that motion picture producers as well as all other classes of citizens should exert every reasonable effort to encourage allegiance to our Country and to its ideals and to promote patriotism in peace as well as in war and WHEREAS the flag of our Country is the symbol which represents the great principles and ideals for which America stands NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that all producers of motion pictures whether members of this Association or not are hereby requested to show the flag of our Country in every picture which they produce."
