Small group of letters and memos regarding the exhibition of unacceptable motion pictures and the need to clamp down on censorship, particularly in relation to enforcing it. Two memos involving Minneapolis. One about revoking the license of a particular theatre and another, dated three days later, quoting a newspaper article commenting on the seemingly overnight action taken against theatres. The other memos and letter relate to Indianapolis and the exhibition of The Road to Ruin, although this film appears to be showing without the theatre group realizing it is unacceptable.
