This concerns a furore over an advertisement for "Daughters of Today," which mentions Leopold and Loeb. In correspondence with the Better Business Bureau, Selznick Distributing disclaims responsibility since the advertisement was created and run by Clune's Broadway Theatre (L.A.). Hays is upset; Beetson of the AMPP is outraged; various producers voice their concern. They are worried about the reaction from Women's Clubs, presently in convention at L.A. A plot synopsis, and the offending ads, are included. Advertisements reproduced on 01-1357 and 01-1358.
