Additional text in Transcription.

At the Committee meeting, short subjects were screened and discussed. Shorts make up almost 50% of the average motion picture program. Short subjects are as important to the moral welfare of our country and children as are features. Gordon S. White of the Educational Film Exchange suggests exhibitors are more careless in selecting shorts than features, and clearly hopes for a boost from the Committee.4 film synopses.

Long Description:

"The first 30 minutes of the program was devoted to one of the pictures from the "Sing Them Again" series. A pianist was present and the committee sang lustily some of the old time songs."
