General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) meeting in October on motion pictures.Information has recently come to my attention bearing upon the quality of films now being sold to foreign countries in which I am sure you will be interested. Recently one of the principal distributors sold a group of 55 pictures to the China Theatres Ltd. of Tientsin. All of these pictures were current releases and included such films as The Hottentot, The Bond Boy, The Bright Shawl, Oliver Twist, Circus Days, Within the Law, Lorna Doone and others of this character.6 film synopses.
