About
Secretary and treasurer of the Association of Motion Picture Producers, Inc. (AMPP) in Hollywood, the Pacific Coast association maintained by producing members of the MPPDA. His early business experience was in advertising agencies in the East and Middle West. He joined the MPPDA staff almost immediately upon its formation in 1922, and moved to Los Angeles when the AMPP was established in 1923, as its executive officer.
