About
Psychologist, director of the Institute of Human Relations at Yale University from 1935, co-author of one of the Payne Fund Studies and of major works on character education and religious education in the 1920s and 1930s. May chaired a group of educators engaged by the MPPDA to produce a series of short films on character education, using extracts from Hollywood movies, in the late 1930s.
