About

President, Educational Film Exchanges. Early career in real estate, building and development companies before in 1915 becoming a producer of short films, first of a strictly educational nature, then as a specialist producer and distributor of short comedy and novelty pictures through a special national distribution organization. His business was badly affected by the major companies’ move into short subject production in the late 1920s. In 1933, physical distribution and sales of Educational Films were turned over to Fox Film. When this contract expired in 1938, he became president of Grand National Pictures, Inc., which went into receivership in 1939.
