Long Description:

Charles Einfeld replied to Hays on Warner's behalf, July 15, 1932..."I am, of course, gratified to see that there have been so few offenses on Warner's part. We have always tried to cooperate with your organization and have done everything possible to stay within the confines of our understanding. I believe the code is a good thing and that every advertising man in this business should adhere to it strictly. Of course, I shall be glad to discuss with you the matter of a rededication to the purposes of the agreement, but I believe that any such move should be made in secret and under no conditions be given national publicity such as the first code received."
