A controversy in Farmington, Maine, is raising the spectre of local censorship. When the local clergyman railed from the pulpit against What Price Glory, the town exhibitor immediately capitalized on the situation by bringing it back for another run. The MPPDA is interested because if local censorship should be introduced in Farmington, as the clergyman is now threatening, then "it would soon spread to other towns in Maine, and throughout New England."
