The Pasadena clubs have taken a stand in favour of censorship. The California Federation contacts them to explain why their official line is anti-censorship -- mainly because of Hays' involvement in approving material to be filmed. They stress the need to be discriminating when attending the movies, and to give support to recommended films. Joy writes to Hays commending their actions.
