Castle is is Chief of Western European Division, Department of State. He is concerned about reports that Armored Cruiser Potemkin, which "is obviously intended to be Bolshevik propaganda and is said to present the doctrine in a very appealing way," is going to be imported to the USA. [In fact it is already circulating in the country].

Herron to Castle, 02-26-1926: "If it is as bad as it seems to be, I can't see why the Department of State can't quietly inform these Russian agents that if they insist on bringing propaganda of this sort into this country they will be deported."
