Suggestions for specific cuts and alterations, including retakes that Famous Players-Lasky (FPL) should make in Manhattan in order to made it acceptable to the billiard lobby. O'Neill comments, "I think also that if we do this, we should be given credit for having gone a long distance out of our way to please them. At the same time, however, it might be well to let our directors know that there have been a couple of kicks about Pool Room pictures and to suggest that the directors lay off them." Keneshaw Mountain Landis, Commissioner of Baseball, is involved in the correspondence by the Billiard Association.
