Long Description:

AMPP. 1924. Excerpt from AMPP Minutes, 02-13-1924 - Problems Employing Mexicans: "There was then considerable discussion as to the subject matter of employing Mexican actors or actresses in motion picture productions on account of the attitude taken by the Mexican government. After considerable discussion it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the Secretary communicate with Honorary President Will H. Hays, advising him that this corporation and its members will cooperate with him in every way in bringing about the termination of any unpleasantness that may have resulted from this condition."
