Caddo - Hell's Angels

Controversy regarding Hell's Angels and First National's Dawn Patrol. Hughes believes there are similarities between the two films and that Dawn Patrol infringes his film. Beetson tells McKenzie that Jack Warner (First National is a subsidiary of Warners) outlined both films to him in such a way that no similarities emerged. Warner believes the situation will work itself out and Beetson sees no reason to intervene at the present time. Includes a clipping dated 31 July 1930 reporting that Hughes has filed an injunction against Dawn Patrol, demanding no further showings of the film.
