Educational films National Catholic Welfare Council (NCWC) has started bi-monthly review of motion pictures - "These reviews are very broad and tolerant in character and are first-rate guides to current motion picture producers." Reviews released to entire Catholic press reaching readership of 4 million. "The importance of such a service cannot be over-estimated. If all the organisations associated with Committee on Public Relations (CPR) would undertake a service of this character it would be of incalculable benefit in promoting better film standards in this country. "The better films movement in the Southeast was sponsored and organized by Southern Enterprises, Inc., now a subsidiary of Famous Players-Lasky Corporation, operating a chain of theatres throughout the Southeast.More on educational films from Path.1 film synopsis.
